Dakar Airport (DKR), officially known as Blaise Diagne International Airport, is located in Diass, about 58 km (36 miles) from downtown Dakar, Senegal. The airport opened in 2017, replacing the old Léopold Sédar Senghor Airport. Dakar is the capital and largest city of Senegal, known for its vibrant culture and historical significance. Transportation to/from airport
Taxi: Official yellow taxis wait outside arrivals. Fares to Dakar city centre are negotiated, typically XOF12,000–25,000 (€18–38) for a 45–60 minute ride. Night and luggage surcharges may apply.
