Denver Botanic Gardens

Larimer Square

Larimer Square is one of Denver’s most important areas, both in history and in fame. Colorado State Capitol

The Colorado State Capitol is a beautiful building and worth visiting. The building officially opened in 1894 and was constructed from Colorado white granite. The building’s dome is made of real gold leaf. You can climb into the dome to see amazing views and be dazzled by the attention to detail.

Downtown Aquarium

This aquarium that holds more than a million gallons of water and housing over 500 species. It is divided into a Dive Lounge, an interactive Stingray Reef touch tank, Nautilus Ballroom, Aquarium Restaurant, and much more. It is a great place for families and a fantastic place for kids to learn more about marine life, there is also a live mermaid show and the flash flood exhibit.

United States Mint

This Mint was built in 1897 and is remarkable that it is still operating and producing coins for circulation for more than a 100 years. Touring this building is a great place to learn about coins being made and the minting process. The gift shop offers a lot of memorabilia.

Children’s Museum of Denver

The museum now welcomes over 350,000 visitors per year of all ages! It offers a lot of activities including wood working, grocery marketing station, rocket launching, nature climbing & caves, and so on. This interactive experience is great for kids and they are free to explore.

Adams Mystery Playhouse

This is one of the most unique places to visit in Colorado. There is a mystery dinner theatre full of comedy and thrills. There’s a lot of food and you get to interact with the characters in the dinner theatre and follow the plot of the drama in real-time as a murder happens. You have to help the detectives solve the drama with clues and eyewitness accounts. The winning team gets souvenir prizes for solving the crime!
